Depends on your goals. I understand you said “strength training” but you also mentioned a caloric intake. This leads me to believe you’re interested in putting on some lean muscle, yes?
If so, considering your equipment, I would recommend the SS program (starting strength) in combination with a high caloric intake. Eat plenty of protein, and if you aren’t already learned in the kitchen, learn how to cook! Lots of chicken breasts, whole wheat pasta, and lots of veggies (potatoes too). The pasta might be a little expensive, but you can get frozen chicken breast for fairly cheap.
SS focuses primarily on form, heavy sets, and increasing your powers and size. It’s a great program for beginners due to it’s focus on form, and gaining size is a common goal. Additionally, it’s all free-weights, so you should be totally set with your equipment.

This one is tough. It’s difficult to keep peppy when not in caloric deficit, and even hard when you are in deficit.
I’m going to provide you with two specific ideas. The first being a rather common solution. The second, not so much.
Firstly, integrate some antioxidant teas throughout your day. Antioxidant rich teas can help keep your energy levels high, and often have a little help with caffeine. Though, you might have already heard this, as it’s not a revolutionary idea.
The second idea, is to reduce the number of carbs you’re intaking. I know this sounds weird, but try replacing them with healthy fats such as macadamias, coconut, most nuts (no peanuts), avocado, etcetera. It’s a common concept called FatFueling vs CarbFueling. Yes, this is a paleo-based concept but a sound one. The healthy fats provide energy without spiking the insulin as heavily as carbs. Not only that, fats provide vital nutrients required by the body for both energy and the construction/maintenance of “structural” elements, such as cell membranes.
Though, since you’re watching your caloric intake, you’ll have to ensure the calorie rich foods you’re eating are equivalent. This will result in your meals getting a little smaller in total mass.

I know I’m getting a little more existential than usual, but keeping fit, keeping with your goals, and reaching the ultimate potential of our mortal beings is at least a catalyst to truly living. We should remember that, and embrace it as motivation. Inner reflection coupled with outward representation.
